Getting Started
To begin using the dashboard, you'll need to
log in
to The Portal.
If you don't have a Portal log in, you can
create an account
.
Once you've logged in, look for the carrier dashboard menu at the top of the page.
Hide the Carrier Dashboard
Those of you who don't want to see the carrier dashboard all the time
can
Hide the Carrier Dashboard
.
Dashboard will be hidden only after you login.
The dashboard is a collection of web pages geared specifically for
carriers and people managing trucks.
My Trucks
You have the ability to add your
available trucks to our website and find out if WorldWide has any loads or
series of loads (aka 'Trips') that match that truck.
The system will
continually search for more trips until your truck expires. If we don't have
anything at this moment, a few minutes from now we might!
Truck Feed
With the Truck Feed you can utilize a mechanism known as RSS (Real Simple Syndication)
and have the matching trip information available to you through Microsoft Outlook
and other mail programs, Google Reader and other web sites, apps on your Smartphone, etc.
With RSS feeds, you can receive notification any way you like, any
where you like. Within minutes or seconds of a trip being identified.
Load Board
Our Load Board posts all of the loads we have available in the system at any moment
in time. Feel free to browse.
Load Board Variations, Feeds and Tweets
We also have a mobile version of the load board for
small screens like your Smartphone and an iGoogle version.
Here too, we have RSS feeds. We have a feed for the entire country and 4
smaller feeds for each region of the country. We are also Tweet-ing our load board loads
in a similar fashion.
Hauling Loads for WorldWide
Of you aren't already setup to haul loads for us, please visit our
Carrier Setup page
for further instructions.
